Shadow Program

Medical Imaging Program applicant can get a closer look at the profession by spending spending a few hours observing medical imaging professionals and procedures firsthand in various areas of Reading Hospital’s Radiology Department.

Please note: Shadowing experiences in the Reading Hospital Radiology Department are not currently available except for those individuals described above who are applying for enrollment in the Medical Imaging Program. Participation in a shadowing experience does not guarantee admission to Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences.

About the Program

Shadowing experiences are scheduled weekly during morning hours. As availability allows, alternate scheduling outside of this timeframe can be accommodated.

Program Requirements

The requirements to shadow are:

  • Interest in seeking enrollment in the RHSHS MI Program
  • 16 years of age or older
  • If under age 18, parent/guardian consent form
  • Photo identification and proof of age
  • Appropriate attire – guidelines will be provided
  • Confidentiality Agreement
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
