It's Lyme Time!

Do you have a rash of early Lyme disease? Have you just started treatment or not started yet? You may qualify for the SLICE Study – Study of Lyme Disease Immunology and Clinical Events. Reading Hospital is collaborating with Johns Hopkins Medicine to study the long-term health outcomes of men and women after infection with Lyme disease.

We support clinical research by providing space, staff, tools, and services for conducting clinical studies. We also support commercial sponsors, non-commercial sponsors, investigator initiated projects and engage in supporting grant opportunities.

Our Principal Investigators (PI) and Sub-Investigators offer patients opportunities to participate in studies on investigational medicines, devices, procedures, and therapies. We work across disciplines to help researchers conduct innovative trials that will advance the art and science of medicine for future generations.

We assist in streamlining the regulatory, contractual, and financial aspects of conducting research, as well as providing operational support for the conduct of research project. Our staff members are experienced and certified in conducting clinical trials.
