Support and Survivorship
Our cancer rehabilitation program offers trained staff members and researched-based methods proven to help you heal in the best possible way and return to the highest level of function.
Nurse Navigator Program
In the Nurse Navigator Program, a registered nurse with expertise in oncology care guides you through the treatment process into survivorship. The nurse navigator ensures that you receive the support and knowledge you need throughout your time with us.
Image Recovery Center
Many treatments for cancer cause temporary or permanent physical changes that, along with the diagnosis, have the potential for altering body image. The Image Recovery Center at the McGlinn Cancer Institute addresses appearance-related issues with color, clothing, cosmetics, hair replacement, and mastectomy products.
The Image Recovery Center is located in N-Building, on the Ground Floor of the McGlinn Cancer Institute. The center’s caring and knowledgeable staff members understand the challenges of coping with illness and the side effects associated with cancer treatments.
Supplementary Support Services
Caring for people with cancer and their loved ones at McGlinn Cancer Institute goes beyond clinical expertise and the most promising therapies. That is why we also provide helpful programs and resources to assist patients and their families at every stage of treatment and recovery.
