Reading Hospital Foundation Accepts Generous Donation from Diamond Credit Union to Benefit Reading Hospital Employees

West Reading, Pa, September 24, 2019 - Diamond Credit Union, a longtime partner of Reading Hospital, is known for its generosity towards the organization and its employees. The branch, located on hospital grounds, often supports numerous programs that benefit Reading Hospital patients, employees, and the community.

On Thursday, September 19, the branch graciously donated $5,000 to the Employee Assistance Fund, a Reading Hospital Foundation initiative, part of the It Starts With Us Employee Giving Campaign, that provides assistance to Reading Hospital employees facing immediate, severe, and temporary financial hardships due to an emergency.

William M. Jennings, President and CEO, Reading Hospital, and Katherine Thornton, President, Reading Hospital Foundation, were joined by Cameron Martin, Director of Development, Reading Hospital Foundation; John Faust, President and CEO, Diamond Credit Union; Todd Rothenberger, Chief Marketing Officer, Diamond Credit Union; and Terri Page, Branch Manager, Diamond Credit Union, to accept the donation.

Administered by Reading Hospital Foundation, the It Starts With Us Employee Giving Campaign supports the Foundation's mission of overall improvement of healthcare services in support of the hospital and the community. The campaign allows Reading Hospital employees the opportunity to make charitable contribution to programs and services that directly impact our patients and colleagues.
