Reading Health System to Dedicate Its New Medical Library to David George, MD
On Thursday, July 20, at 2 p.m., Reading Health System will dedicate its new Medical Library, located on B3 South in Reading Hospital, to David George, MD, Vice President and Chief Academic Officer. The dedication honors Dr. George for his many years of commitment and service to Reading Hospital.
In addition to his executive role, Dr. George is a staff rheumatologist at Reading Health. His professional interests include education in behavioral change, skin manifestations of rheumatic disease, and immune-mediated hearing disorders.
Dr. George is also Assistant Dean and Clinical Associate Professor at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, where he is an educator in rheumatology and acute ambulatory medicine.
He completed a Faculty Development Fellowship at the University of North Carolina and completed training in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and a Master's in Business Administration from Alvernia College.
