Reading Health Rehabilitation Hospital Receives CARF Accreditation

Reading Health Rehabilitation Hospital has been issued accreditation by CARF International, an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services that was founded as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

The three-year accreditation applies to four inpatient rehabilitation programs for adults, including:

  • General Medical Rehabilitation,
  • Amputation Specialty Program,
  • Brain Injury Specialty Program, and
  • Stroke Specialty Program.

CARF International noted that this high level of accreditation is an indication of Reading Health Rehabilitation Hospital's "dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served. Services, personnel and documentation clearly indicate an established pattern of conformance to standards."
