Developed by the Boy Scouts of America, Medical Explorers is a program offered to high school students interested in learning about careers in healthcare. Meetings are held the third Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Students are welcome to join Medical Explorers anytime throughout the school year.
If you are a Berks County high school student in grades 9-12 and are interested in a career in healthcare, Reading Health System invites you to join the 2017-2018 Medical Explorers Post. Posts occur monthly from (September – May) with a break during the summer months.
During each post, students will have the opportunity to tour a different department in Reading Hospital and talk to doctors, nurses and staff about careers in healthcare.
For more information, contact Brandon Monk, Community Health Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Attendance is FREE.
Please download and complete the Medical Explorers registration form. Forms should be handed in at the next session that you attend. For more information, call our HELPline at 484-628-4357.
