About the Program
Reading Hospital offers a long tradition of excellence in post graduate medical education and are delighted to be adding Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to that list. Our collative program is designed to provide strong foundations in every aspect of physiatry and to ensure an abundance of patient exposure. Our experienced faculty will guide you with one on one teaching and mentoring as you work with our amazing interdisciplinary team to provide patient centered care.
Our experienced Physiatrists are excited to bring a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program to Tower Health. Our robust didactic schedule is to encourage self-motivation and inspire lifelong learning. Both Reading Hospital and Rehab Hospital are state of the art facilities with up-to-date technologies. You will be working with highly skilled, certified allied health professionals in a multidisciplinary team atmosphere. All this is provided in a friendly community setting that capitalizes on great inter specialty collaboration, thus ensuring our residents are receiving the best training possible.
Tower Health - At the heart of Tower Health is the Reading Hospital which is home to the area’s only Level 1 Trauma Center making it one of the busiest Emergency Departments in Pennsylvania. Reading Hospital is also thrilled to announce its brand-new liver and renal transplant services, the first of its kind in the area. In addition to Reading Hospital, Tower Health operates Montgomery, Chester, and Philadelphia community hospitals and St. Christopher’s Children Hospital.
