Sleep Medicine Fellowship
The Sleep Medicine fellowship at Reading Hospital Tower Health is a one-year program designed to prepare trainees in the diagnosis and management of the entire range of sleep disorders. The fellowship experience provides comprehensive training in sleep medicine by a multidisciplinary faculty from Pulmonology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Otolaryngology and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. We accept one fellow to our program each year.
Fellowship rotations include adult and pediatric clinics, inpatient consultation and in the sleep laboratories. Education is supported by weekly didactic sessions and conferences that cover the chemical, physiologic, behavioral and psychosocial aspects of sleep medicine. Weekly polysomnogram conference provides the experience necessary to become proficient in scoring and interpreting both adult and pediatric sleep studies. Fellows are expected to cultivate a research project during the year and participate in case conferences and journal club.
Our goal is to provide a diverse inpatient and outpatient clinical experience and research opportunities that will allow our fellows to develop and refine the skills needed for a future career in sleep medicine.
