Our Infectious Diseases section has 10 Infectious Diseases physicians and one nurse practitioner. We provide infectious disease consultation and follow-up care for 3 health care systems. Our case mix is diverse, and we see the full breath of infectious diseases including routine plus exotic bacterial, fungal, mycobacterial, and viral infections. We also provide comprehensive HIV care to over 900 patients through our Ryan White Funded HIV clinic and outpatient office settings. There are 2 fellowship positions per year for our 2-year training fellowship. We also provide antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, microbiology, travel medicine and research educational opportunities.
The primary focus of our fellowship program is to provide the best educational experience for our fellows to produce highly-trained Infectious Diseases physicians.
