Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship

The Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Tower Health is a three-year, ACGME approved program. It offers 6 fellowship positions a year.

Reading Hospital is the flagship hospital of the Tower Health System and is the 3rd largest healthcare system in the greater Philadelphia region, with over 71,000 admissions a year. Training at Reading Hospital and its peripheral sites provides the fellow with experience in the care of patients from rural, suburban, and urban settings. The fellow will have access to patients exhibiting a wide array of cardiac conditions, providing an opportunity for a broad educational experience.  Reading Hospital is also a high volume center for noninvasive cardiac testing, as well as state-of-the-art interventional and structural cardiac procedures. The fellows will receive training by key faculty with experience in medical education and who are strongly focused on an evidence-based, highly efficient, patient-centered model of care.

Training in Tower Health will provide fellows also with the excellent academic experience thanks to affiliation with the Drexel University College of Medicine.  Fellows will have the opportunity to work and teach the residents and the medical students.  They will also have ability to participate in a wide range of clinical and basic science research opportunities while collaborating with attending mentor.
